This Flower of Life Sacred Geometry Mandala was inspired by the Sun, and as such is adorned with the symbol of the Sun, the god Re. The mandala was initially hand drawn and made digital for all to enjoy.
The Flower of Life is an ancient symbol used in cultures across the world, thought to symbolize creation and unity.
The Sun is believed to represent the conscious ego, the self and its expression, personal power, pride and authority, leadership qualities, principles of creativity, spontaneity, health and vitality. It is associated with the heart, circulatory system and the thymus and in Ayurveda the Sun rules over life force (praan-shakti).
The Mandala is used in many cultures as a form of art to aid in meditation. It is often used to symbolize the microcosm and is believed by many to be a key to self-understanding and self- acceptance. In tantric traditions it can be translated as 'sacred space', where deities are invited in through the use of mantra.

- Easy care. Machine wash in cold water with a phosphate-free detergent and machine dry on medium to high heat. Do not bleach. Fabric will dry quickly so you can wear your top again soon!
